Commitment to Diversity

An arial photo of a fountain with gothic buildings around it

At the University of Washington, UW Medicine and in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to promoting excellence in research, patient care, teaching and learning. We value and honor diverse experiences and perspectives, strive to create welcoming and respectful learning environments, and promote access, opportunity, and sense of belonging for all without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, pregnancy, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
