Personal Interests

Why did you decide to pursue a career in academic medicine at UW?

As someone who completed all of their postgraduate training at UW, I have experienced firsthand the mentorship, support and excellent clinical training UW has to offer. I am honored to now join the ranks of my own mentors and further the mission of our department through teaching, clinical care and research.

What is one thing that brings you joy, either inside or outside of work?

Music! Especially live shows and concerts.

What inspires you?

All of the resilient and relentless women in my family who have worked and sacrifice so much to provide me with the opportunity to grow into the person I am today, both professionally and personally.
