Nailah Dodd is a Certified Nurse Midwife. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she studied Public Health during her undergraduate education at Temple University in Philadelphia. It was her work internationally in rural Egypt and Ethiopia with obstetric fistula patients prior to her undergraduate education that motivated her to become a Midwife. She completed her undergraduate research studying obstetric related trauma while also serving as a birth and abortion doula in Downtown Philadelphia.

She went on to complete her Nursing and Midwifery education at Columbia University in New York and provide care to a globally diverse patient population in East Harlem. She returns to her hometown Seattle enthusiastic to support PNW families.

Nailah is honored to provide evidence-based compassionate Midwifery care to patients and their families regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, and socioeconomic status. She is most inspired by the potential of women to create ripples of change and cultivate thriving communities. As a result, she seeks to empower patients and their families to be able to reflect on their birthing experience as a positive moment in their lives.
