Personal Interests:

I enjoy traveling with my family and spending time reading on the beach in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

Building families. Our future lies in our children and our families.  The health of children begin with a healthy mother and pregnancy.  I have done this long enough to know that every little contribution makes a difference in a woman’s life.  You may not know it until much later.  The combination of medicine and compassion in taking care of two lives simultaneously makes this career so fulfilling.  Every day is different and every day is new learning.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

We have some of the smartest and most dedicated people I have ever worked with.  I always know they have my back any time of the day or night.

What inspires you?

The courage of my patients to slog it through.  Everyday is inspiring.
