Why did you decide to pursue a career in OBGYN?

I chose a career in midwifery as a vehicle for reproductive and social justice. I love building relationships with my patients and providing education and evidence to support their bodies throughout all life’s stages and, in particular, the childbearing phase.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

The Seattle area has been home for over 12 years now and I love the lifestyle here. It’s such a wonderful place to explore the great outdoors. We’re  often found on the banks of a river with our two kids, two dogs, and a couple of fishing poles.
