Personal Interests:

If I am not in my garden or cooking in my kitchen, I must be traveling in new lands or cross-country skiing with my husband and daughter.

Why did you pursue a career in OB/GYN?

My life has been surrounded and defined by women. From growing up with a single mother mother and my two sisters to completing my undergraduate degree at a women's college, women have been front and center in my daily life. Women often place their health care secondary to others. I have actively made educating and empowering women central to my practice.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

There is always something to do! My family and I enjoy being able to hike or ski most weekends as well as find interesting food experiences around the Puget Sound (and beyond). Despite the Seattle Freeze, most of Seattle is friendly and welcoming.
