Why did you pursue a career in OB/GYN?

As the daughter of an OB/GYN, I was always curious about what was really happening on the other side of that phone. I later learned that I love caring for and supporting women in all stages of life. It is such a special honor to be part of a woman's journey through pregnancy and childbirth and I also enjoy the challenge of GYN surgery.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

I love the diversity and beauty of the Pacific Northwest. It is great being a physician in Seattle because people are motivated to be healthy and often like to make healthcare decisions together, rather than be told what to do.

What inspires you?

I tend to gain inspiration everywhere! Professionally, my colleagues inspire me to continue to learn and try new medical technology. My patients inspire me daily with their strength, resilience, and general kindness. In my personal life, I am inspired by creative foods and beautiful design!
