Personal Interests:

I enjoy cooking, traveling, and running (mainly by playing tag with my two kids).

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I was drawn to a career in OB/GYN because of the unique position we have in caring for women in the continuum of their lives. I value listening and open communication in collaborating with patients, recognizing that all women deserve individualized care. When this relationship gets built, I get the privilege of accompanying them through their lives.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

The UW, as a learning institution, exemplifies education, research and clinical care. We are all learners, and the UW challenges me as a learner myself to continue to grow, and also share my knowledge with other patients and physicians.

What inspires you?

My family - the sacrifices of my parents.
