Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I wanted to provide the best possible start to every new life.  Everyone deserves a fair chance and an equal footing to the beginnings of their life.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

The interdisciplinary collegialty and cross-fertilization that exists between departments in the research community.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

I think the best things to come out of Seattle were Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.

What inspires you?

A quote attributed  to (but not really by) CS Lewis - "humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less."  I am reminded to serve others each day by this quote.
