Biography

Megan Dunn, CNM, is a board-certified nurse-midwife who specializes in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care as well as contraception and preventative care. Megan Dunn is a midwife at the UW Midwives Clinic at Northwest Hospital.

Megan believes in partnering with patients and their families to empower them to make the decisions that are best for their care. Spending time reviewing questions and providing the most current evidence based information is a hallmark of midwifery care.

Megan Dunn likes to read, cook, and spend time in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OBGYN? 

From a young age I was fascinated by pregnancy and birth and I was drawn to the midwifery approach to health care which centers patients and their families.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

UW Medicine is a place that is always evolving to support best practices for their patients and providers.

What are you favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

The natural beauty- the mountains, the water, the green.

What inspires you?

I am continually inspired by my patients.
