Biography
Dr. Chay Barnes, DNP, ARNP, CNM is a board-certified nurse midwife and a Teaching Associate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She specializes in providing evidence-based midwifery care to patients and their families. With a focus on preventative care, pregnancy, childbirth, and family planning, Chay works in partnership with her patients to meet their healthcare goals.
Chay’s approach to healthcare embraces a holistic perspective, recognizing the interconnected of physical, emotional, and mental well-being. She is dedicated to empowering patients in managing their health and firmly believes in providing the latest evidence so patient can make well-informed decisions about their healthcare. She strives to create nurturing spaces, ensuring that every patient feels safe, seen, heard, and wholeheartedly supported.
Chay enjoys traveling, cooking, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
