Cait Gilchrist, WHNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in gynecologic and reproductive health care. Cait is a Teaching Associate at OB/GYN and Primary Care at UW Medical Center - Roosevelt.
Cait believes in compassionate, patient-driven health care. Her primary goal at each appointment is to make sure her patients feel heard and have all the information needed to make the best health decisions for themselves.
Cait's clinical expertise includes management of PCOS and painful periods, birth control education, evaluation of vaginitis and UTIs, and other routine gynecologic health concerns. She also performs common gynecologic procedures including IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal, colposcopy, endometrial and vulvar biopsy, and Bartholin gland drainage.
What are some of your favorite activities to do outside of work?
I love crafting and trying out new hobbies. Most recently I've gotten into soap-making and candle-making!
What is one thing that brings you joy outside of work?
My dog, Everett, is a bundle of energy and so desperately wants to cuddle with my cat, Thor, who on occasion will deign to allow Everett to nap next to him. These two goofy boys bring me so much joy!
