Being outside in the water and mountains with my family.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I enjoy taking care of cisgender women, transgender men, and all people across the gender spectrum seeking pelvic reconstruction and urogynecology care.  With modern treatments, I am able to make most of my patients' lives better.

What are your favorite things about living in Seattle?

I was born and raised here, and most of my family lives in Seattle. I like to hike, paddleboard, bike, and ski in the awesome mountains and lakes in the area.

What inspires you?

Women who continue to do their jobs and care for their families despite sometimes severe childbirth injuries. We are lucky to live in a time when medicine has many effective treatment options for these patients.
