Victoria Chiaro, DO, is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist at UW Medical Center - Northwest in the Generalist Division
Dr. Chiaro believes in a patient-centered, holistic approach to patient care. She emphasizes the importance of shared-decision so that patients feel heard and understood when embarking on a treatment or delivery plan. Her goal is to help patients have a safe labor and delivery experience that respects their values while utilizing the best evidence available.
Dr. Chiaro enjoys yoga, hiking and the beach as well as spending time with her family in her free time.
Why did you decide to pursue a career in OBGYN?
I decided to pursue a career in Ob/Gyn because I saw the impact that taking care of women has on families and the entire community. When women specifically are listened to and able to achieve their reproductive health goals, our communities are more likely to be healthy and thrive.
What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?
I love the accessibility to nature as well as all of the available activities for our family.

What inspires you?
Our current political climate's effect on reproductive freedom has me motivated to help restore patient autonomy and dignity with each encounter.
