Personal Interests:

In her free time, Dr. Zia enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors with her family, dancing her heart out, or snuggled up with a great book.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I absolutely love my job! Whether I have the privilege of giving that first sex talk and education, or the honor to be part of someone's pregnancy and postpartum journey, or to the trust in my skill to provide a surgical solution that improves quality of life, all the way through sensitive care for the transition through menopause and beyond -  I feel so lucky to have a career which gives me the opportunity to advocate for and care for women, in all stages of life.

What inspires you?

My patients. I have met so many amazing people that I have felt honored to care for. They inspire me to keep working at being the best Ob/Gyn and person that I can be.
