Biography

Kathryn Gray, MD PhD, is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Clinical Genetics. She specializes in the treatment of high-risk pregnancies and reproductive genetics.

Dr. Gray believes in a patient-centered and personalized approach to patient care, providing the most up-to-date information, and shared decision-making. Her goal is to optimize pregnancy care for each individual.

Dr. Gray enjoys being outdoors, spinning, and spending time with her 3 boys.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OBGYN?

I am passionate about optimizing medical care of pregnant people and advancing research to understand the etiology of adverse pregnancy outcomes.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

We just moved to Seattle so we are excited to learn about the area and explore many outdoor activities.

What inspires you?

Great science, successful collaborations, my colleagues and students, networking, traveling, altruism.

Preeclampsia, stillbirth, fetal anomalies, prenatal genetic screening and diagnosis.

Research Interests: 

Genetics of adverse pregnancy outcomes (including preeclampsia, stillbirth, and fetal anomalies), advancing prenatal genetic screening and diagnosis, medication use in pregnancy.
