Educational Objectives

OB/GYN Grand Rounds support participants in identifying critical and timely issues that are in need of further attention; offer the appropriate expert education; and discussing how women’s health issues are changing and how best to adapt to those changes.

Upon completion of this OB/GYN activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss recent advances in medicine related to various disease states.
  • Incorporate new technologies and medicine into their practice when appropriate.
  • Outcomes: Providers will have increased knowledge about emerging trends in medicine and will apply this information in their practice to maintain competency and improve patient outcomes.

CME Accreditation

The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The UW School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 27.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (1.0 per session). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
