Introduction

Welcome to Missoula, Montana. During your six week rotation in Missoula you will be working with three obstetrician-gynecologists who work at the Western Montana Clinic, a multispecialty clinic in Missoula. The majority of your time will be spent at Providence, St. Patrick Hospital for deliveries and surgery. There will also be an opportunity to work with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine provider at Community Medical Center.

In this clerkship we hope to offer you a wide variety of experiences including basic obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and infertility.

Check-In

The WWAMI Missoula office will contact you regarding your orientation before the first day.

Housing

There will be a shared furnished housing available to medical students for their six-week rotation. For more details, please contact the site coordinator.

Call 

During the six-week clerkship you will be assigned call every fourth to fifth night and one or two weekends. During the weekdays call begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 a.m. Weekend call begins at 5:00 p.m. Friday and ends at 7:00 a.m. Monday. The call schedule is quite flexible.
