Office/Clinic Experiences
Students will spend Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in clinic from 9am to 5pm. Clinic time will include ultrasound, OB visits, gyn problem visits, and annuals, and will be a hands on experience. Students will spend every Thrusday in the operating room from 7:30am to 5pm. Deliveries and cesareans during clinic and some on call with ER. Dr. Biggs is a strong proponent of hands on experience in all areas. Students will have major exposure to obstetrics and ultrasound.
Hospital Experience
Hospital experience will take place at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. These experiences will include vaginal deliveries, first assist on cesareans, first assist in surgery, ER consults, rounding, and inpatient consults.
Didactics
There are monthly lectures/rounds at the hospital, but not always in obstetrics.

Housing is provided for this clerkship. Please contact Chelsey for more information. Students need to provide their own vehicle for this clerkship.
Credentialing
This site requires drug testing as apart of their credentialing requirements. According to the SOM drug testing policy, all drug testing needs to be done through the SOM.
