Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I truly love talking with women about their health and finding ways to help them live better. Pregnancy and women's health will always be my two favorite subjects. Finding a job that combined all of these pieces was a dream come true.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

UW Medicine is one of the few places in the world where I can combine my love for obstetrics and gynecology with my passion for research. The University of Washington is a world-class research institution. Here, I have tools and colleagues to study infections in pregnancy and how to prevent them with new vaccines and therapies.

How can we learn more about the Adams Research Lab?

What inspires you?

I find inspiration in my patients, my research and even daily life. It is a privilege to play a role in helping my patients become healthier. I am also grateful to conduct research in a place where it is possible to be on the cutting edge of science in women's health.
