Biography

The goal of our research (in the Yang lab) is to utilize pluripotent stem cell and animal models as well as clinical samples to study conditions that affect reproductive and maternal-fetal health.

Current research projects include: characterization of aneuploidy, cell fate and mosaicism in early development, modeling placentation anomalies using trophoblast stem cells, profiling the epigenetic regulation of cell fate transition in human embryos.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

The combination of urban lifestyle and the outdoors.
