Biography

Personal Interests:

In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, playing with my dog, traveling, scuba diving and spending time with friends and family.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I decided to become an OBGYN to be an advocate for women in the community. I fell in love with the field through delivering babies in Ghana in medical school. I feel like through this role I have a unique voice to advocate for my patients both in their personal care but on a state and national level to change policy to improve healthcare for all women.

What are your favorite things about livingin in the Seattle area?

Seattle is the most beautiful place I have ever lived. Access to mountains, the water and being outside makes this a great place to call home.

What inspires you?

My colleagues - watching them be passionate about what they do and wanting to excel to make care the best we can for patients is inspirational.
