Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN? I truly love talking with women about their health and finding ways to help them live better. Pregnancy and women's health will always be my two favorite subjects. Finding a job that combined all of these pieces was a dream come true. What do you like about working at UW Medicine? UW Medicine is one of the few places in the world where I can combine my love for obstetrics and gynecology with my passion for research. The University of Washington is a world-class research institution. Here, I have tools and colleagues to study infections in pregnancy and how to prevent them with new vaccines and therapies. How can we learn more about the Adams Research Lab? I find inspiration in my patients, my research and even daily life. It is a privilege to play a role in helping my patients become healthier. I am also grateful to conduct research in a place where it is possible to be on the cutting edge of science in women's health.
