Biography

Personal Interests:

Enjoys keeping up with her three children, music, dance and yoga.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in OB/GYN?

I chose ObGyn because it allows for continuity of care for patients throughout a lifetime and includes providing surgery and obstetrics services.

What do you like about working at UW Medicine?

After spending 5 years in a private practice, I returned to UW Medicine to participate in research and teaching activities. Working at UW allows me to keep current with changes in medicine as well as contribute to improving care for all people.

What are your favorite things about living in the Seattle area?

I moved to Seattle for the outstanding training and research opportunities at UW. I stayed in Seattle for the outstanding outdoor and cultural activities available here.

What inspires you?

Working with my colleagues and staff at Harborview Medical Center inspires me. I am surrounded by smart, generous, compassionate people who dedicate themselves to providing outstanding care to every individual.
