The University of Washington is actively monitoring the impact of COVID-19 in our region and across the US. We are following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on preventing the spread of COVID-19. Currently, our faculty and residents are under a travel ban at least until April, but are preparing for longer if recommended.
Since the main defense against the novel coronavirus at this time is containment, the UW Dept of Maternal Fetal Medicine will conduct virtual interviews for 2021 fellowship candidates to reduce the need to travel. We are currently planning to maintain the timeline of applications due May 1, 2020 and offering invitations May 18, 2020 for July 17, 2020 and August 7, 2020 interview dates.
Updates will be communicated through our website, please check our webpage regularly for any new information. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time.
Remote interviews will be held on Friday, July 17 and Friday, August 7, 2020. We will be participating in the fellowship match, so you will need to contact the National Residency Matching Program to receive the Specialties Matching Service information.
Two positions are available in our Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship on a competitive basis.
